Who can join?
A credit union exists to serve a specific group of people, such as a group of employees or the members of a professional or religious group. This is called a "field of membership." The field of membership may include where they live, where they work, where they go to school or where they worship.
How much is it to join?
A $25 share deposit plus a $5 membership is required to open an account an establish membership/ownership and be approved by the membership committee.
Are savings deposits insured?
The NCUA an agency of the federal government insures deposits up to $250,000,00 per member account.
Does the joint account owner have the right to make deposits and withdrawals?
Yes, the joint account owner does have the right to make deposits and independent withdrawals. Withdrawals can be made at any time with proper account identification.
